Carlos Santana (born April 8, 1986) is a Dominican-American professional baseball designated hitter and first baseman for the Major League Baseball Kansas City Royals (MLB).

On June 11, 2010, he made his MLB debut with the Cleveland Indians, and he also spent the 2018 season with the Philadelphia Phillies. He has competed in international play with the Dominican Republic national team, capturing the gold medal in the 2013 World Baseball Classic (WBC). Santana, who is known for his plate discipline and power, has also shown to be an effective first-base defender.
