Carter Kieboom, full name Carter Alswinn Kieboom is an American born professional baseball player who plays the position of the third baseman for the Washington Nationals baseball team of Major League Baseball(MLB).

Carter Kieboom was born and raised in Georgia on September 3, 1997. He attended George Walton Comprehensive High School in Marietta, Georgia where he played baseball for the school’s baseball team. After high school, he was going to attend Clemson University to play college baseball for the Clemson Tigers but he was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the first round of the 2016 MLB Draft.

Carter signed with the Nationals and made his professional debut that year with the Gulf Coast League Nationals. He spent 2017 with the Class-A Hagerstown Suns where he was named to the Northern Division All-Star team in the South Atlantic League.

He was named as the Washington Nationals’ fourth-best prospect by both Baseball America and MLB Pipeline. Carter spent the 2018 season playing for the High-A Potomac Nationals where he was named a Carolina League All-Star. The Nationals promoted him that year to the Class-AA Harrisburg Senators.

For the 2019 minor league season, he was with the Fresno Grizzlies of the Class AAA Pacific Coast League. The Nationals promoted him to the major leagues on April 26, 2019, and he made his MLB debut that day when the Nationals played against the San Diego Padres.
