As the third baseman for the Washington Nationals, Carter Alswinn Kieboom participates in professional baseball. At Georgia’s George Walton Comprehensive High School in Marietta, he participated in baseball teams there. He was selected by the Washington Nationals in the first round of the 2016 MLB Draft after graduating from high school.

With their help, he secured a contract, and the Gulf Coast League Nationals were where he made his professional debut that year. He was given the Class-A Hagerstown Suns to play for in 2017. Along with many Suns teammates, he was selected for the South Atlantic League’s Northern Division All-Star squad that year.

He was ranked as the Nationals’ fourth-best prospect as of the 2017 season by Baseball America and MLB Pipeline. Carter was promoted to the major leagues in April 2019 and he made his MLB debut on April 26, 2019 for the Nationals.
