Cavan Thomas Biggio, simply known as Cavan Biggio is one of the professional baseball players known to play as second baseman, third baseman and an outfielder for the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team.

Cavan was raised in Texas by both parents and he was born on April 11, 1995. His parents are Patricia Biggio and Craig Biggio, a former MLB second baseman. Cavan had his amateur high school baseball career at St. Thomas High School in Houston, Texas.

After high school, the Philadelphia Phillies selected him in the 29th round of the 2013 MLB draft but he did not sign and chose to play college baseball at the University of Notre Dame. He also played collegiate summer baseball with the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod Baseball League and was named a league All-Star.

During the 2016 MLB draft, the Toronto Blue Jays drafted him in the 5th round of the draft. He agreed to play for them and signed with them for a signing bonus of $300,000.  He started his professional career that year as he was assigned to the Vancouver Canadians of the Class A-Short Season Northwest League where he was named an All-Star for Vancouver.

The Blue Jays promoted him to the major leagues on May 24, 2019, and he made his MLB debut that night against the San Diego Padres. Cavan and the Blue Jays agreed on a $2.123 million contract in March 2022 to avoid salary arbitration.
