Cedrick Wilson Jr. plays wide receiver for the National Football League’s Miami Dolphins in American football. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on November 20, 1995, in the United States. Wilson attended Memphis, Tennessee’s White Station High School. He participated in quarterbacking the football squad there. He attended Coffeyville Community College after graduating from high school.
He amassed 629 yards and 10 touchdowns as a rookie, earning All-Conference recognition. He earned Junior College All-American accolades for his sophomore season, which included 66 receptions, 1,045 receiving yards (the second-highest total in school history), and 17 touchdowns (fourth in the country).
He changed schools to Boise State University in 2016. He participated in 12 games as a junior, starting five of them. The Dallas Cowboys selected Wilson in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He had 16 appearances and recorded 17 receptions for 189 yards, two receiving touchdowns, two passes for 23 yards, and one touchdown pass in 2020.
He had five receptions for 107 receiving yards and two touchdowns before the end of the third week. He had at least 100 receiving yards in a single game for the first time in his professional career. Wilson and the Miami Dolphins agreed to a three-year, $22.8 million contract on March 17, 2022.
