Cethan Carter plays for the National Football League’s Miami Dolphins. He was born on September 5, 1995, in the American city of New Orleans, Louisiana. Carter participated in football as a tight end, H-back, and fullback at Archbishop Rummel High School in Metairie, Louisiana. In his senior year of 2012, he caught 23 receptions for 418 yards and five touchdowns, receiving Honorable Mention All-State recognition.

Rummell won the Class 5A state championship in Louisiana and concluded the 2012 campaign 14-0. From 2013 through 2016, he participated in football games for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Cornhuskers. At Nebraska, he studied criminology and criminal justice. 2013 saw Carter recognized by 247Sports as a True Freshman All-American.

The Big Ten All-Freshman team also gave him honorable mention. Carter and the Cincinnati Bengals came to a contract deal on May 5, 2017. He defeated the New England Patriots in Week 15 of the 2019 campaign to get his first NFL touchdown. He recorded two receptions for a total of 13 yards toward the end of the season.

With 16 special teams tackles, he was a vital member of the Cincinnati Bengals’ special teams. In April 2020, Carter re-signed with the Bengals on a one-year restricted free agency deal. He signed with the Miami Dolphins football team in March 2021.
