Charlie Kolar is a professional football player who is now the tight end for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. He is 1.98 m tall and weighs 114 kg. He attended Norman North High School and was a native. He played football and basketball. He had 66 receptions for 1,240 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior to earn first-team All-State honors.

As a junior, he hauled in 52 passes for 920 yards and 13 touchdowns. Kolar declined offers to play collegiate football for Air Force, Army, and Stephen F. Austin before the start of his senior year in order to play for Iowa State. He took part in collegiate football for the Cyclones at Iowa State University.

As a redshirt freshman, he competed in all 13 of Iowa State’s games. The Big 12 Conference coaches chose him for their second team after his season-ending 11 receptions for 137 yards and three touchdowns. He caught 51 passes for 697 yards and seven scores as a redshirt sophomore, receiving first-team Big 12 recognition.



After the 2019 season, he contemplated entering the 2020 NFL Draft, but finally elected to stay for his redshirt junior season. He was named first-team All-Big 12 for the second year in a row after finishing his redshirt junior season with 44 receptions for 591 yards and a team-high seven touchdown grabs. He was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
