American football running back Chase Edmonds plays for the National Football League’s Miami Dolphins. In the United States of America, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania is where he was born on April 13, 1996. He played football and basketball for the Panthers at Central Dauphin East High School. He attended Fordham University after high school, where he played football for the Fordham Rams. From 2014 to 2017, he was a player for Fordham.

In 14 games as a freshman, he ran for 1838 yards on 294 carries for 23 touchdowns, averaging 6.3 yards per carry. He also caught the ball 19 times for 121 yards and one score. The Arizona Cardinals selected Edmonds in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft, with the 134th overall pick. He signed his rookie contract on May 11, 2018.

On September 9, 2018, he made his NFL debut against the Washington Redskins in a 24-6 loss, rushing four times for 24 yards and collecting four catches for another 24 yards. Prior to free agent signee James Conner, he began the 2021 season as the Cardinals’ primary running back for the first time in his career. He began the first nine games, but in Week 9, he sprained his ankle severely. He inked a two-year, $12.6 million deal with the Miami Dolphins in March 2022.
