When Glaser first arrived at UVA in the summer of 2017, he was only 17 years old. Despite looking like a strong redshirt candidate that season, he was forced into action in Virginia’s ninth game, a crucial victory over Georgia Tech. That season, he started two games at right offensive tackle.
Glaser started seven games at left guard and saw action at right guard in 2018, when UVA won eight games for the first time since eight victories in 2011. That year, Glaser, a junior, started at right guard and helped the Wahoos become the first team to win the ACC’s Coastal Division.
