The National Football League’s Kansas City Chiefs are home to Chris Lammons, a cornerback in the professional game. At 1.75 m tall and 88 kg, he is a bit tall. Plantation High School was where he studied. Following graduation from high school, he attended the University of South Carolina where he spent four seasons as a football player for the Gamecocks.

He started all 13 of the games he played in as a junior, recording 53 tackles, a sack, and five passes defensed. He finished third on the team in tackles as a senior with 79, two forced turnovers, and seven passes defended. With 177 total tackles, a sack, four interceptions, 21 passes defended, three forced fumbles, and three recovered fumbles at the conclusion of his undergraduate career, he had a strong defensive record.

Lammons became a free agent after being undrafted in April 2018 and signed with the Atlanta Falcons. He was dismissed from the roster in September 2018 as part of the last round of cuts. He joined the New Orleans Saints’ practice squad on October 3, 2018, but was later let go on October 20. He joined the Miami Dolphins practice squad in November of last year and made his NFL debut in September of this year.

In December of 2019, he started attending Kansas City Chiefs’ workouts. At the final roster cuts on September 5, 2020, he was cut, and the following day he was signed to the practice squad. His contract with the Chiefs was renewed on June 16, 2022.
