Cole Strange Parents: Meet Greg and Kimberly Strange

Cole Strange is a guard who plays American football for the National Football League’s New England Patriots. He is 139 kg and 1.96 m tall. He played football while he was a student at Farragut High School. He primarily played defensive end, and as a senior, he finished with 103.5 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, and 7.5 sacks.

He was also named the Knoxville Interscholastic League Defensive Player of the Year. He attended the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga after high school, where he played college football for the Chattanooga Mocs from 2016 to 2021. He has a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and is presently pursuing an online Master’s degree in engineering management at UTC.

He participated in ten games as a redshirt freshman at left guard, starting six of them. During his redshirt sophomore season, he started all 11 games at left guard and was chosen to the second team of the Southern Conference (SoCon). After starting 11 games at left guard as a redshirt junior, he was once again named to the second team of the SoCon.

During his redshirt senior season, he won the Jacobs Blocking Award as the greatest blocker in the SoCon after starting four out of five potential games at left guard. He received a second consecutive Jacobs Blocking Award in 2021 and was selected to the first team of the SoCon. He participated in the 2022 Senior Bowl after his college career came to an end. In the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots selected him.
