In the National Football League, Collin Johnson plays wide receiver for the New York Giants. He stands 1.98 m tall and weighs 100 kg. He played football while a student at Valley Christian High School. In April 2014, he made a commitment to attend the University of Texas at Austin. He participated in college football at Texas for the Texas Longhorns.

As a rookie, he participated in every game, and as a sophomore, he started nine games and finished the campaign with 54 catches. Johnson was taken by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the 165th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
