Colt McCoy Height: How Tall Is Colt McCoy?

Colt McCoy is an experienced quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. McCoy was a standout college football player at Texas, where he received numerous accolades during his senior year in 2009.

If you look at wins among quarterbacks in Division I FBS in the NCAA, McCoy ranks second only to Boise State’s Kellen Moore.

During the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns were the team that selected him. McCoy has also played for the San Francisco 49ers, the Washington Redskins, and the New York Giants, mostly in the role of backup quarterback for each of those teams.

McCoy played football for the Texas Longhorns under coach Mack Brown from 2005 through 2009 while he was a student at the University of Texas at Austin.

Colt started for the Longhorns for four years, from 2006 to 2009. The only player in school history to win or share the team’s MVP all four years was him. Since he was issued a redshirt as a freshman, he sat out the team’s 2005 championship season.

During the scout team’s mock matchup with the starting defense, he played quarterback for them.
