Connor Williams is an offensive guard for the National Football League’s Miami Dolphins. He was born on May 12, 1997 in the American city of Coppell, Texas. Coppell High School served him. In his first season, he started at right tackle for the final three games. As a sophomore, his position as a tight end was switched to left tackle, but by the conclusion of the year. His full scholarship to play NCAA football for the Texas Longhorns of the University of Texas at Austin was extended to him.
He started all 12 of his games as a freshman at left tackle. He suffered a left knee injury in the third game of his junior season against USC. He returned to the field to face West Virginia University in the 11th game. In November 2017, Williams decided to forgo his senior year in favor of the 2018 NFL Draft and withdraw from the 2017 Texas Bowl.
His selection came in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys. He played left guard for the first eight games the squad played. In the Cowboys’ first season, in 2019, he started at left guard. Williams and the Miami Dolphins reached an agreement on a two-year, $14 million contract on March 17, 2022.
