Cordarrelle Patterson is a professional football player who is a utility man for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. He stands 1.88 m tall and weighs 100 kg. He played football while attending Northwestern High School. At Hutchinson Community College, he played collegiate football in 2010 and 2011. There, he played football for a junior college and received National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-American recognition.

He was a highly sought-after recruit and had a 5-star rating on when he graduated from Hutchinson Community College in 2012. Despite receiving scholarship offers from prestigious Division I institutions, he chose to enroll at the University of Tennessee in order to play football with the Tennessee Volunteers.

The Minnesota Vikings made Patterson their first-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft with the 29th overall pick. He committed to the Oakland Raiders for two years in March 2017. He was traded by the Raiders to the New England Patriots in March 2018. He committed to the Chicago Bears for two years the following year. He committed to the Atlanta Falcons on a one-year deal in April 2021.

He committed to the Falcons in March 2022, paying them $10.5 million. He started as the Falcons’ primary running back when the 2022 campaign began. He rushed for a career-high 141 yards and a score in Week 3 of the 2022 campaign in a 27-23 victory over the Seattle Seahawks, winning NFC Offensive Player of the Week in the process.
