Corey Donte Ray is an American professional baseball outfielder who currently plays for the Milwaukee Brewers in Major League Baseball.

Ray was born on September 22, 1994, in the United States (MLB). In 2021, he made his debut with an MLB team. Ray received his education at the Simeon Career Academy in Chicago, which is located in Illinois.

He participated in the Under Armour All-American Game in the summer before his final year of high school. The game was held in 2012.

The Seattle Mariners selected him in the 33rd round of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft, but he did not sign with them. Instead, he went to the University of Louisville to play college baseball for the Louisville Cardinals instead of signing with the Mariners.

As a freshman at Louisville in 2014, Ray participated in 43 games and made 19 starts for the Cardinals. He had one home run and 17 RBIs, hitting.325/.416/.481 with a batting average (RBI). Following the conclusion of the 2014 campaign,

he participated in the summer collegiate baseball competition with the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League.

In 2015, he was a sophomore and started all 65 games, hitting.325/.389/.543 with 11 home runs, 56 RBI, and 34 stolen bases. He also had a perfect fielding percentage of 1.000.

In the bottom of the ninth inning of Louisville’s game against Wake Forest, Ray stole home, which ultimately led to the Cardinals’ victory.

After the season was over, he participated in the summer tournaments with the United States collegiate national team.
