Corey Ray Parents: Meet Corey Ray Sr. and Kathy Ray

Corey Ray, born Corey Donte Ray is a professional baseball player known to play in the major leagues as an outfielder for the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team. He played baseball as an amateur at Simeon Career Academy in his home town.



He also played in 2012 Under Armour All-American Game before he graduated from high school. After high school, he was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 33rd round of the 2013 MLB draft but he did not sign with them and chose to play college baseball for the Louisville Cardinals at the University of Louisville.

He played collegiate summer baseball with the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2014 before he graduated from college and played for the United States collegiate national team during the summer of 2015. He was drafted in the 2016 MLB draft by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 5th overall selection of the draft.

He agreed to play for them and signed. He made his professional debut that season after he was assigned to play with both the Brevard County Manatees of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers of the Class A Midwest League. He was promoted to the major leagues in April 2021 and he made his MLB debut on April 24, 2021.
