Donte Corey  Ray of Major League Baseball is an American outfielder with the Milwaukee Brewers (MLB). In 2021, he made his Major League Baseball debut.



Chicago, Illinois-based Simeon Career Academy educated Ray. He participated in 2012 Under Armour All-American Game in the summer before his senior year.

 



A 2013 MLB Draft pick by the Seattle Mariners, he chose to play collegiate baseball instead of signing with the team, and he did so by playing for the University of Louisville Cardinals.

Ray started 19 games and played 43 games as a rookie in 2014. Errors: 1 home run, 17 runs batted in (RBI). He spent the 2014 summer season with the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League.


In 2015, he started all 65 games, hitting.325 with 11 home runs, 56 RBIs, and 34 steals.  Ray stole home in the ninth inning against Wake Forest to give Louisville the victory.

The Milwaukee Brewers selected Raymond Ray in the 2016 Major League Baseball draft in the fifth round.

He made his professional debut in 2017 with the Brevard County Manatees and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. In 2018, he played in the Southern League with the Biloxi Shuckers and the Class A-Advanced Carolina League with the Carolina Mudcats.

After the 2019 season, he was added to Brewers’ 40-man roster. Ray was called up to the major leagues for the first time on April 24, 2021. After the season, he played for the US collegiate national team.

Neighbouring the modest house, Ray shares with his fiancée Lena and their baby daughter Cori. Corey and Lena are not yet married, and there is little information about Corey’s girlfriend, Lena.
