Corn Elder plays cornerback professionally for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League. He weighs 84 kg, and his height is 1.78 meters. While a student at Ensworth High School, he participated in football. As a senior, he rushed for 2,618 yards and scored 39 touchdowns, helping the team win the Division II-AA state championship for the third time in a row.



He was Tennessee’s two-time Mr. Football Player of the Year, a four-star prospect out of high school, and a four-star prospect overall. He played football for the Miami Hurricanes and was a student at the University of Miami. As a true freshman in 2013, he played in 10 games, recorded 7 tackles, and gained 164 yards on 7 kickoff returns.

He participated in every one of Miami’s 13 games as a senior and had a great campaign as one of the team’s top defensive playmakers. He was named to the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association’s second-team All-ACC and the ACC coaches’ first-team All-ACC. The Carolina Panthers selected Elder, 152nd overall, in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

He was discharged as part of the final roster cuts in August 2019. In September 2019, he joined the New York Giants’ practice squad. He signed on with the Detroit Lions in April 2021, and in August he was released. On August 30, 2022, Elder was released by the Washington Commanders, and the next day he was added to the practice squad.
