Daelin Hayes is a professional football player with the Baltimore Ravens. He represents the Ravens as an outside linebacker. He is 115 kg and 1.93 m tall. After switching schools after his sophomore year at St. Mary’s Preparatory, Daelin moved to California and enrolled at St. Bonaventure High School.
There, he played football for a season and a half before returning to Michigan and enrolling at Cass Technical High School in Detroit. As he entered his senior year, he changed schools to Skyline High School. He received a five-star recruit rating. He attended the University of Notre Dame after high school, where he played collegiate football for the Fighting Irish.
He was an early enrollee and played for the Fighting Irish for five seasons. He was a starter as a sophomore and finished his junior season with 31 tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble. He used a medical redshirt after sustaining a shoulder injury four games into his senior year.
In his fifth season back, he concluded the campaign with 17 tackles, six tackles for loss, three sacks, an interception, and two forced fumbles. The Baltimore Ravens selected him in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He entered into a contract with the Ravens in May 2021.
