As a tight end with the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League, Dalton Schultz plays football professionally. At 1.96 m tall and 116 kg, he is also quite tall. He played basketball and football for the Miners sports teams while a student at Bingham High School in South Jordan, Utah. For 512 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior, he grabbed 31 passes.
He hauled in 76 passes for 1,120 yards and 12 scores throughout his high school career. After getting a football scholarship from them, he decided to play collegiate football for the Stanford Cardinal in January 2014. He participated in the Stanford Cardinal football team while he was a student there. His true freshman year in 2014 was redshirted.
In 2015, he was a redshirt freshman and played in all 14 games, catching 10 passes for 121 yards and one touchdown. Hooper was chosen as the starter after the 2016 NFL Draft announcement regarding his sophomore year. While primarily being used as a blocker in 13 games, he caught 22 passes for 212 yards and three scores. Dallas Cowboys selected Schultz with the 137th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. In March, the Cowboys placed the $10.9 million franchise tag on him.
