Damien Harris is a running back for the National Football League’s New England Patriots squad in American football. He stands 1.8 m tall. In Richmond, Kentucky, in the United States, he was born on February 11, 1997. He attended Madison Southern High School in Berea, Kentucky, where he participated in high school football.
He gained 6,748 yards on the ground while playing high school football and scored 122 touchdowns. He received a five-star rating from the recruiting network Rivals.com and was listed as the best running back and eighth-best player in his class. He made a commitment to play collegiate football with Nick Saban’s Alabama Crimson Tide.
He participated in collegiate football for the University of Alabama’s Alabama Crimson Tide team. From 2015 till his graduation in 2018, he was there. He was chosen by the New England Patriots with the 87th overall pick in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft after graduating.
In the team’s 33-0 victory over the New York Jets in Week 7, he made his professional debut, rushing for 12 yards on four carries. For the 2021 season, he served as the team’s main starter. Despite missing Week 10’s game against the Cleveland Browns due to a concussion suffered in Week 9, he started the first nine games of the season.
