Wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League, Damiere Byrd is an American who plays professionally in football. He stands 1.75 m tall and weighs 79 kg. He played football at Timber Creek Regional High School, where he was a student. He attended the University of South Carolina, where he played collegiate football for the South Carolina Gamecocks football team, after graduating from high school.

He had accumulated 1265 yards on 68 receptions with 10 touchdowns by the end of his senior year in 2014. The Carolina Panthers signed Byrd as an undrafted free agent in May 2015. He was released by the Panthers in September 2015.

In February 2016, Byrd committed to a reserve/future contract with the Panthers. Arizona Cardinals purchased him in March 2019. His career-high 32 receptions for 359 yards and one score during his 11 games played, three of which he started. I committed to the New England Patriots in March 2020 for one season. He played in 16 games, had 47 receptions for 604 receiving yards, 1 touchdown, and 2 attempts for 15 yards on the ground.

He finished the season with 16 games played. The Chicago Bears acquired him on May 4, 2021. During that season, he caught a touchdown pass for 54 yards against the Green Bay Packers. He signed a one-year contract with the Atlanta Falcons in April 2022.
