Damone Clark is an American football linebacker who currently plays for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League.
He was born on June 28, 2000. He attended LSU for his college football career. Clark was born and raised in New Orleans until 2005, when Hurricane Katrina caused so much damage that his family had to move to Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
He received his education at the Southern University Laboratory School. During his junior year, Clark recorded a total of 48 tackles,
five tackles for loss, four sacks, and four interceptions on the defensive side of the ball. As a sophomore with the LSU Tigers, linebacker Darnell Clark participated in all 15 games,
recording 49 tackles and 3.5 sacks on his way to leading the team to the College Football Playoff National Championship in 2020.
Going into his junior year, the Tigers’ coaching staff decided that he should wear the No. 18 jersey. This decision was made before the start of his junior year.
At the end of the season, he ended up tied for first place with 63 tackles for the team and had three sacks. During the 2022 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys selected Clark in the fifth round, making him the 176th player overall to be selected.
