Feeney signed a four-year deal with the Los Angeles Chargers on June 2, 2017 that was worth $3.7 million with a $924,632 signing bonus.



During training camp, he faced competition for a starting guard spot from Forrest Lamp, Matt Slauson, Brett Boyko, Donavon Clark, and Kenny Wiggins. Following Forrest Lamp’s season-ending ACL injury and placement on injured/reserve, head coach Anthony Lynn appointed him Kenny Wiggins’ backup right guard.

The Los Angeles Chargers’ season-opening 21-24 loss to the Denver Broncos marked his first appearance in a regular-season game for a living. After Matt Slauson sustained a season-ending biceps injury on October 29, 2017, Feeney made his first career start as a left guard in the New England Patriots’ 13-21 defeat. Ultimately, he began the remainder of the season at left guard and was selected to the PFWA All-Rookie Team.

In 2018, Feeney started all 16 of the games at left guard as the starting left guard.

Feeney agreed to a one-year deal with the New York Jets on March 19, 2021. During the 2021 season, he participated in 16 games and started 5. He re-signed with the Jets on a one-year contract on March 16, 2022.
