Cornerback Dane Tyrez Jackson plays for the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills. Jackson attended Cornell High School, but he transferred to Quaker Valley High School to play football because Cornell didn’t have a team. In June 2014, he made a commitment to play at the University of Pittsburgh.
He was a member of the university’s intercollegiate football team, the Pittsburgh Panthers, while playing college football there. During his senior year, he was selected to the Atlantic Coast Conference’s second team, and he participated in the 2020 Senior Bowl.
Jackson was chosen by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft. In May 2020, he and the Bills came to a four-year, $3.376 million agreement. In January 2021, he was elevated once more in preparation for the divisional playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens and the AFC Championship Game against the Kansas City Chiefs. He agreed to a reserves/futures contract with the Bills in January 2021.
