Daniel Bard Children: Does Daniel Bard Have Any Kids?

Daniel Paul Bard is an American professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball. Bard was born on June 25, 1985, in the United States.

Between the years 2009 and 2013, he was a member of the Boston Red Sox organization. In 2011, Bard established a new record for the Red Sox by going 25 outings in a row without allowing a run.

He reached a maximum speed of 102 miles per hour with his fastest pitch. In later years, Bard struggled to maintain command of his pitches, which ultimately led to the derailment of his playing career.

After only pitching in two games for a major league team in 2013, he went on to play for a few other minor league teams until calling it quits in 2017 to become a player mentor.

After regaining control of his addiction in 2020, Bard made his comeback as a player, was added to the Rockies’ Major League Baseball roster, and went on to win the National League Comeback Player of the Year Award in his role as the team’s closing pitcher.
