Daniel Faalele is an American football player from Australia who competes on a professional level. He plays offensive lineman for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. He is 2.03 m tall and weighs 172 kg. The IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, offered him a football scholarship there.
He joined the IMG offensive line in 2017, the year the team went undefeated, and was selected to play in the 2018 Under Armour All-America Game barely a year after starting to train and learn the game. Being a four-star prospect, he declined offers to play college football at Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, and Michigan in favor of Minnesota.
He competed in sports for the Minnesota Golden Gophers of the University of Minnesota. During his first season, he took part in 10 games, starting the final 8 games at right tackle. He was named honorable mention All-Big Ten Conference and was included among the top 50 athletes in Australia by GQ.
In his sophomore season, Daniel started 11 games as right tackle and was once more named honorable mention All-Big Ten. In December 2021, during his final college game, he scored his first touchdown of his professional career in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl. He was chosen by the Baltimore Ravens in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
