Danny Young Parents: Who Are Danny Young Parents?

Daniel Alexander Young was born on May 27, 1994, and is a Major League Baseball left-handed pitcher for the Seattle Mariners. In 2022, he made his MLB debut.

Young graduated in 2012 from Saint Andrew’s School in Boca Raton, Florida. He played collegiate baseball for the Florida Gators at the University of Florida.

The Toronto Blue Jays took young in the eighth round of the 2015 MLB draft. Young will be promoted to the major leagues by the Mariners on May 5, 2022. On May 9, he made his MLB debut in relief, striking out three batters.



Danny Young was drafted 242nd in the 8th round by the Toronto Blue Jays. Danny graduated from Saint Andrew’s School in 2012 where he was a standout in the Scots baseball program. He earned MVP, Most Oustanding Hitter, Most Outstanding Pitcher, and First Team All-County Honors as a Junior and Senior at Saint Andrew’s.

Danny is currently a junior member of the University of Florida baseball program being named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll both his freshman and sophomore years.  As a left-handed pitcher, he is currently 2-0 for the Gators this season with a 2.42 ERA in 18 appearances and one start.

Danny has never divulged any information about his parents, he is a very private person who likes to keep his personal life away from media attention.
