In the National Football League, Dante Fowler Jr. plays defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys. He weighs 118 kg and is 1.91 m tall. He was a two-sport star in football and track at Lakewood High School, where he attended. After his senior year, he was selected for the 2012 Under Armour All-America Game and was given an honorable mention for the Sports Illustrated All-American football team.
When he attended the University of Florida, he participated in college football for the Florida Gators squad. He took part in every one of the 13 games he was a part of as a freshman, starting the game against Missouri. He had eight tackles for a loss, 30 total tackles, 2.5 sacks, and eight total tackles.

He was added to the reserve/COVID-19 list by the group on November 14, 2020, and on November 25 he was activated. The Falcons released him on February 16, 2022. In March 2022, Fowler signed a one-year contract and committed to the Dallas Cowboys.
