Dany Jiménez (born December 23, 1993) is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Oakland Athletics. He previously played in the Major League Baseball with the San Francisco Giants.

On August 6, 2015, Jiménez signed with the Toronto Blue Jays as an international free agent. He pitched for the Dominican Summer League Blue Jays in 2015, going 1–0 with a 5.19 ERA in 8+23 innings.

He pitched in the DSL and the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League Blue Jays in 2016, going 3–2 with a 2.72 ERA over 46+13 innings and 48 strikeouts.



He pitched in the GCL and the Short-Season A Vancouver Canadians in 2017, going 2–3 with a 5.49 ERA in 19+23 innings while striking out 24 batters.

Jiménez was selected by the San Francisco Giants in the 2019 Rule 5 draft on December 12, 2019.

On July 23, 2020, he made his major league debut, pitching a scoreless 13th inning against the Los Angeles Dodgers. On July 30, Jiménez was assigned.

Jiménez was restored to the Blue Jays organization on August 2 after clearing waivers.

Jiménez was taken in the second round of the Rule 5 draft by the Oakland Athletics on December 10, 2020.

Jiménez was returned to the Blue Jays on March 15, 2021, and was invited to Spring Training as a non-roster invitee.

The Triple-A Buffalo Bisons were Jiménez’s home for the 2021 season. He pitched 39 innings for them and was 3-3 with a 2.22 ERA and 79 strikeouts. Jiménez chose free agency on October 5.

Jiménez signed a minor league deal with the Oakland Athletics on November 4, 2021. The A’s chose Jiménez’s contract on April 7, 2022, and he was added to their opening day roster.
