Former UCLA cornerback Darnay Holmes is currently in his third season with the Cowboys. Holmes was a member of the Bruins from 2017 to 2019. He is the son of former Buffalo Bill, Darick Holmes, who played in the NFL from 1995 to 1999.
During his rookie year, he was promoted to the starting lineup and started all 33 games in which he participated. Following the conclusion of the 2019 campaign, he entered the 2020 NFL Draft.
In the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the New York Giants selected Holmes as the 110th overall choice.
During the game against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13, Holmes picked off a pass thrown by Russell Wilson to record the first interception of his career.
