As a cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League, DaRon Bland is well-known in the sport of American football. He is 1.83 m tall and 91 kg in weight. The Valley Oak League Defensive Player of the Year was awarded to him as a senior at Central Catholic High School, where he attended and played football.

Following his high school graduation, he enrolled at California State University, Sacramento, where he played collegiate football for the Sacramento State Hornets. His 43 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, two interceptions, and eight passes broken up during his junior season earned him a spot on the first team of the Big Sky Conference.

Bland’s senior football season was postponed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 epidemic. His senior season was moved to the spring of 2021 as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak in the US. The NCAA Transfer Portal was subsequently opened by him. The choice to transfer to Fresno State was finally made by him.

In his lone season, he appeared in 13 games for the Fresno State Bulldogs, appearing in 45 total games and recording 45 tackles, five passes defended, and two interceptions. In the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys selected Bland. He intercepted a ball intended for Carson Wentz on October 2, 2022, marking his first career interception.
