David Ojabo is a Scottish-Nigerian professional American football player. He plays outside linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. He is 116 kg in weight and 1.93 meters tall.On May 17, 2000, David was born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He and his family moved to Aberdeen, Scotland, in 2007.
When he was 17 years old, he moved to Blairstown, New Jersey, in the United States of America. Before transitioning to American football, he played basketball at Blair Academy in New Jersey. He was drawn to the University of Michigan in part because of the state’s environment, which made him feel at home and reminded him of Scotland.
He played football for the Michigan Wolverines from 2019 to 2021. He didn’t play in the season in 2019, his first season at Michigan. As a sophomore in 2020, he played in six games and had one tackle. He started playing as a starter in 2021. On January 4, 2022, he revealed that he would forgo his senior year and enter the 2022 NFL Draft instead.
David suffered an injury during a drill on Michigan’s Pro Day, and he ultimately had surgery for his left ankle. It was eventually determined that he had torn his Achilles. He was chosen by the Baltimore Ravens with the 45th overall choice in the 2022 NFL Draft.
