David Lee Quessenberry Jr., also known as David Quessenberry in the professional sphere, plays offensive guard for the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills. He was born in the American city of La Jolla, California. He played football and lacrosse and went to Carlsbad, California’s La Costa Canyon High School. At La Costa Canyon, he played the tight end position.

After graduating from high school with no scholarship offers, he met a San Jose State assistant coach who was recruiting a teammate. In order to gain weight from his starting weight of 235 pounds, he later walked on to the San Jose State University Spartans football team in 2008 and redshirted that season. He was chosen by the Houston Texans in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

He was added to the Tennessee Titans’ practice squad in September 2018. On December 31, 2018, he agreed to a reserve/future deal with the Titans. He was released by the Titans on September 5, 2020, and the following day he was added to the practice squad. On October 13 and 24, 2020, he was added to the active roster in preparation for the team’s games against the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers in weeks 5 and 7. After every game, he was returned to the practice squad. On October 27, 2020, he was elevated to the Titans’ active roster. He committed to a one-year contract with the Buffalo Bills in April 2022.
