The Buffalo Bills of the National Football League are the team that David Lee Quessenberry Jr., also known as David Quessenberry in the professional world, plays offensive guard for. He was born in La Jolla, California, a city in the United States. He attended La Costa Canyon High School in Carlsbad, California, where he participated in football and lacrosse. He participated in the La Costa Canyon tight end position.

He met a San Jose State assistant coach who was recruiting a teammate after graduating from high school with no scholarship offers. He later went on to the San Jose State University Spartans football team in 2008 and redshirted that season in order to gain weight from his starting weight of 235 pounds. In the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans selected him.

In September 2018, he was added to the Tennessee Titans’ practice squad. He and the Titans reached an agreement on a reserve/future deal on December 31, 2018. On September 5, 2020, the Titans released him, and the next day he was signed to the practice squad. He was included on the active roster on October 13 and October 24, 2020, in time for the team’s games against the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers in weeks five and seven. He was reinstated to the practice squad following each game. He was added to the Titans’ active roster on October 27, 2020. In April 2022, he agreed to a one-year contract with the Buffalo Bills.
