Davion Taylor plays as a linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. In college, he began playing amateur football. He transferred to the University of Colorado in 2018, at which point he joined the football team of Colorado.

In the 12 games he started that season, he totalled 57 tackles, one sack, and one touchdown. In 2019, he played in all 12 of his games as a senior and finished with 72 tackles and one sack.

Over the course of his college career, he played defence in 23 games, starting 19 of them. He had 136 total tackles, including two sacks, 20 for a loss, and 12 for no gain.

He has also forced 13 quarterback fumbles in addition to 23 third-down stops, 13 quarterback pressures, nine pass breakups, two quarterback chase downs, and three recovered fumbles.
