Davion Taylor plays football professionally and is a linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He weighs 104 kg and stands 1.85 m tall. He began playing football as a pastime in college. He attended Coahoma Community College in 2016 and 2017, earning a 3.6 GPA and the Coahoma Community College Scholar Athlete Award in 2017.
In 2018, he changed teams and started playing football with the University of Colorado Buffaloes. During that season, he had 57 tackles, one sack, and one touchdown while starting 10 of the 12 games. As a senior in 2019, he started all 12 games and recorded 72 tackles and one sack.
In 23 games over the course of his college career, he started 19 of them as a defensive player. He finished with 136 tackles, including 12 for no gain and 20 for a loss, including two sacks. Along with 23 third down stops, 13 quarterback pressures, nine pass breakups, two quarterback chase downs, and three recovered fumbles, he has also forced 13 quarterback fumbles.
In addition to his present minor in Leadership Studies, he studied Psychology at Colorado. As the 103rd overall choice in the 2020 NFL Draft, Taylor was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the third round. In Week 6 of the 2021 season, he began playing as a starter for the team. He rejoined the practice squad after his release in August 2022.
