Davion Taylor plays linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. While enrolled there, he received the Coahoma Community College Scholar-Athlete Award and a 3.6-grade point average.

He attended there in 2016 and 2017. He joined the Colorado Buffaloes football team in 2018 after transferring to the University of Colorado.

He started 10 of the 12 games he played in that season, compiling 57 tackles, one sack, and one score. He started each of his 12 games as a senior in 2019, finishing with 72 tackles and one sack.

Over the course of his college career, he played defence in 23 games, starting 19 of them. He had 136 total tackles, including two sacks, 20 for a loss, and 12 for no gain.

He has also forced 13 quarterback fumbles in addition to 23 third-down stops, 13 quarterback pressures, nine pass breakups, two quarterback chase downs, and three recovered fumbles.

He studied Psychology at Colorado in addition to his current minor in Leadership Studies. The Philadelphia Eagles selected Taylor in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, 103rd overall.

He joined the team as a starter in Week 6 of the 2021 season. After being released in August, he returned to the practice squad.
