In the National Football League, Davis Webb plays quarterback for the New York Giants. He stands 1.96 m tall and weighs 102 kg. He first attended Keller High School before transferring to Prosper High School, where he led the team to a district title and a trip to the Texas 4A regional playoffs.
As a junior, he received numerous honors, including first-team All-District and honorable mention All-State recognition. From 2013 to 2015, he was a member of the Texas Tech Red Raiders football team. He served as a backup quarterback on a rotating basis during his first year.
A transfer to the University of California, Berkeley was made public by Webb in 2016. He played for the California Golden Bears as a graduate transfer, making him eligible to play right away. The 87th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft went to the New York Giants, who chose Webb in the third round. He was a practice squad member of the New York Jets as of September 2018.
In November 2018, he was elevated to the roster of players. On August 31, 2019, he was discharged as part of the last round of roster cuts. He signed a reserve/futures deal in February 2022 with the New York Giants. He was recruited to the practice squad the next day after being released on August 30, 2022.
