For the New York Giants of the National Football League, Davis Webb plays quarterback professionally. He is 102 kg and 1.96 m tall. Prior to attending Prosper High School, where he led the team to a district title and a trip to the Texas 4A regional playoffs, he previously attended Keller High School. As a junior, he received multiple honors, including first-team All-District and honorable mention All-State recognition.
From 2013 to 2015, he participated in collegiate football with the Texas Tech Red Raiders at Texas Tech University. He served as a reserve quarterback on a rotating basis during his first year.
In 2016, Webb made it known that he will be transferring to the University of California, Berkeley. Being a graduate transfer and a player for the California Golden Bears, he was right away qualified to participate. In the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the New York Giants selected Webb with the 87th overall pick. In September 2018, the New York Jets added him to the practice squad.
His promotion to the active roster occurred in November 2018. He was released on August 31, 2019, as part of the most recent roster downsizing. In February 2022, he committed to the New York Giants under a reserve/futures deal. On September 1, 2022, he was added to the practice squad after being discharged on August 30.
