Interestingly, Davis Webb plays quarterback for the National Football League’s New York Giants. He is 1.96 m tall and 102 kg in weight. Prior to transferring to Prosper High School, he attended Keller High School. At Prosper, he led the team to a district title and a trip to the Texas 4A regional semifinals.
He received numerous honors, including first-team All-District and honorable mention All-State recognition as a junior. From 2013 to 2015, he was a member of Texas Tech University’s football team, the Red Raiders. He rotated as a backup quarterback during his first year.
The University of California, Berkeley was chosen by Webb as his new school, which he announced in 2016. As a graduate transfer player who had previously played for the California Golden Bears, he was immediately qualified to participate. New York Giants made Webb their third-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft with the 87th overall pick. In September 2018, he was a September addition to the New York Jets’ practice squad.
He was added to the roster of active players in November 2018. As part of the most recent roster downsizing, he was let go on August 31, 2019. He committed to the New York Giants in February 2022 under a reserve/futures deal. On September 1, 2022, he was put free, and the next day he joined the practice squad.
