Dawson Knox

Dawson Alan Knox is a tight end with the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. He was born on November 14, 1996, in Brentwood, Tennessee, in the United States. He attended St. Paul Christian Academy and Brentwood Academy in Brentwood, Tennessee, where he played football for the high school team as a wide receiver and quarterback.

After graduating from high school, he played NCAA football for the Ole Miss Rebels at the University of Mississippi from 2015 to 2018. During his tenure in college, he caught 39 receptions for 605 yards. After his junior year in 2018, he decided to bypass his senior year and enter the 2019 NFL Draft.

The Buffalo Bills selected Knox with the 96th overall pick in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Knox signed his one-year contract with the organization on June 14, 2019. Knox had three receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown in September 2019.

In a hit-and-miss rookie season, he grabbed 28 of 50 targets for 388 yards and two scores. He was added to the reserve/COVID-19 list after testing positive for the COVID-19 virus in October 2020. He got enlisted in November of that year. He began to play a bigger part in the passing offense for the Bills in 2021.
