Deion Jones, a linebacker for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League, was created on November 4, 1994. He represented Louisiana State University (LSU) in NCAA football, and the Atlanta Falcons picked him in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Jones played middle linebacker at Jesuit High School in New Orleans, Louisiana, and started three seasons there. Jones was chosen by the Atlanta Falcons with the 52nd overall pick in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
He was the first of two linebackers the Falcons selected in 2016, the other being De’Vondre Campbell, who was selected 115th overall in the fourth round. He was chosen as the eighth linebacker in 2016.

The Falcons traded Jones and a 2024 seventh-round pick to the Cleveland Browns on October 10, 2022, in exchange for a 2024 sixth-round pick.
