For the National Football League’s Washington Commanders, De’Jon Harris plays linebacker professionally. He is 1.83 m tall and 97 kg in weight. In 2015, he led the team to the state title game and a 12-3 record while attending and participating in high school football at John Ehret High School. He was a University of Arkansas student who participated in collegiate football for the Arkansas Razorbacks.

In 2016, he participated in 12 games and recorded a total of 37 tackles, including 2.0 tackles for loss and 1.0 sack. He was the team’s top performer in tackles overall, tackles for loss, and sacks in 2017 as a sophomore. In 2018, as a junior, he played in 890 snaps while starting all 12 games.

He started all 12 of his games as a senior middle linebacker in 2019, and he finished the season with 101 tackles, 52 of which were solo stops. He played in 47 games and 371 tackles, including 26 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks, throughout his NCAA football career. In April 2020, the New England Patriots signed undrafted free agent Harris.

He was released on September 5, 2020 as a result of the final roster cuts, and the Green Bay Packers later added him to their practice squad on September 9, 2020. He agreed to a reserve/futures deal with the Packers in January 2021. In October 2021, Harried joined the Washington Commanders’ practice squad.
