De’Jon Harris is a linebacker for the National Football League’s Washington Commanders. He is 97 kilograms and 1.83 meters tall. He went to John Ehret High School, where he also played football in high school. He contributed to the team’s 12-3 record and state finals appearance in 2015. He attended the University of Arkansas and participated in football for the Razorbacks of Arkansas.
In his 12 games played as a freshman in 2016, he made 37 tackles, with 2.0 tackles for loss and 1.0 sack. As a sophomore in 2017, he topped the team in sacks, tackles for loss, and overall tackles. As a junior in 2018, he started each of the 12 games and logged 890 snaps.
He made 101 tackles as a senior in 2019, including 52 unassisted stops, while starting all 12 of the games at middle linebacker. He played in 47 games and recorded 371 tackles throughout his college football career, including 26 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks. Harris was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New England Patriots in April 2020.
The Green Bay Packers signed him to their practice squad on September 9, 2020, after he was released on September 5, 2020, as a result of the final roster cuts.
