Derek Hill is an American professional baseball center fielder for the Detroit Tigers of Major League Baseball (MLB). Hill was drafted by the Tigers in the first round of the 2014 MLB draft, and he made his MLB debut in 2020.

Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Hill moved to Northern California as a child to spend the summers with his father, where he played baseball for local teams.
