Devante Bond is an American football linebacker who currently plays for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League.



Bond was born on July 3, 1993. (NFL). In the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, he was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to play for their team.

He attended a college in Oklahoma and played football there. During the 2016 NFL Draft, Bond was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the sixth round, which placed him 183rd overall.



He suffered a hamstring injury on September 23, 2016, and was subsequently placed on injured reserve. He played his first game in the National Football League in Week 3 against the Minnesota Vikings.

It was a game against the New England Patriots on October 5, 2017, when he made his first tackle of his professional career.

Bond was given a four-week suspension by the National Football League for breaching the league’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs.

The Chicago Bears announced on December 9 that they had signed Bond to a contract. Bond re-signed with the Bears on February 22, 2020, extending his contract with the team.

After the conclusion of the season on January 18, 2021, his practice squad contract with the team was no longer active.

On December 30, 2021, Bond became a member of the practice squad for the Dallas Cowboys. After suffering a season-ending knee injury while participating in off-season activities, he was placed on injured reserve on July 8, 2022.
