Devin Timothy Soane Asiasi, better known by his full name Devin Asiasi, is a tight end with the National Football League’s Cincinnati Bengals. He stands 1.91 meters tall and weighs 117 kilograms. He played football on offense and defense when a student at De La Salle High School. During his senior year, he ended with 49 tackles, five pass breakups, and four sacks on defense in addition to 17 receptions for 311 yards and five touchdowns on offense.
In 2016, he took part in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He received four-star ratings from ESPN, Rivals, and Scout.com, and ESPN ranked him as the third-best tight end in the 2016 recruiting class for college football. Devin played collegiate football for the UCLA Bruins while attending the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2019, he participated in 12 games and recorded 44 receptions for 641 yards and 4 touchdowns.
In his first 100-yard game, he accumulated 141 yards versus USC. The New England Patriots took him with the 91st overall choice in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft. In November 2020, he was placed on injured reserve. In December, he was brought off injured reserve. His release from the Patriots occurred in August 2022. Devin was taken off waivers by the Cincinnati Bengals on August 31, 2022.
