He scored three more touchdowns in the Owls’ 50–3 Boca Raton Bowl victory over Akron, bringing his total for the season to 33 (32 rushing, 1 receiving).
The following season, Singletary carried for 22 touchdowns and 1,336 yards on 261 attempts. Sporting News named him to the second team All-American for his efforts.
Singletary announced his decision to enter the 2019 NFL draft on December 12, 2018, concluding his college career as Florida Atlantic University’s all-time rusher and with the sixth-most rushing touchdowns in FBS history.
